Cleveland Crush and The Vision of Angels
The Cleveland Crush mentored the Young Vision of Angels dance group at the YMCA in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The Crush also held a basketball skills camp with the young ladies ages 7 thru 12. The young ladies of the Vision of Angels are a dance team that performs praise dancing, hip hop dancing, modern dance, and assorted other dance routines. The Cleveland
Crush would like to thank the owner Mr. Mitchell Sears for inviting us to share
a few hours with his young ladies. Mr. Sears is blind, and
the Vision of Angels volunteer as
mentors for other children that are blind throughout the year.

The Illinois Shooting Stars continued their efforts to give back to the community by having a basketball clinic for the youth held at the Jackie Joyner Kersee Foundation of East St. Louis, IL. During the clinic the children were taught the fundamentals of the game, the importance of team work on and off the court and also had an opportunity to scrimmage in front of their friends and family. Each child walked away with a ticket to the Stars first home game on May 11, 2013 and some essential tools they need so that they may continue their journey in basketball and in everyday life. The IL. Stars had a great time and we are looking forward to next years clinic.
