Dominique Simmons will depart to play in an international tour in Kenya, Africa for a duration of 3 weeks. During this time, Simmons will compete against Africa’s National Teams and women’s club teams in surrounding areas. Although, the desire is to win games and compete, a portion of the tour will include conducting basketball camps and helping with various service projects of surrounding African communities. The international tour will start in Ohio, where all selected athletes will participate in a 3 day training camp, prior to flying over to Africa to compete. The international tour is being hosted by Cru-Campus Crusade for Christ International, who sends both men’s and women’s teams to compete overseas each year and represent the love of Christ through basketball.
