![]() BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Cougar Legends Women’s Basketball Team have begun their first season with a 2-0 start. The ladies of the Baltimore Cougar Legends won their first game 61-59 against the DMV Bucks and 64-76 against the Maryland Queens. The ladies were set to play at Home against the Long Island Wave but that game will be rescheduled for a later date. “Our community was not expecting such a level of competitiveness.” Says team owner Tamara Moore, “The people of our community are now fans of this game, fans that love this game. The acknowledgment of talent that these women get they’ve earned and deserve. Their talent is a quiet storm!” You can catch the Baltimore Cougar Legends play their first away games in Virginia and New York as they take on the Lady Warriors June 11 and Long Island Wave June 25. ### The Baltimore Cougar Legends are the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League’s first Maryland Team catering to the collegiate level athlete, up to former WNBA and other professional players in hopes to expand their IQ not only in the game but sports and business management as well.
