The WBCBL and the Suncoast Region would like to welcome the Ft. Myers Lady Bobcats and the local community to the league. I had the pleasure of spending the day with the S.T.A.R.S. community center's staff getting things ready for the Lady Bobcats tryouts and upcoming season. Thank you so much Mr. Keith White for your hospitality and warm welcome as we take the time to hang our league and regional banner in facility that will serve as home to the Lady Bobcats. Ms. LaSchelle Brown Suncoast Regional Director

Christina Rozier is not only a member of the Dade County Lady Bulls Women’s Basketball Team but is also the CEO of a very well-known club called SWAG, “Students With A Goal,” at Somerset Academy Miramar High School in Miramar, FL. SWAG is designed to uplift the youth in various ways: implementing life skills, educating them, and motivating them to be the best they can be for our community. She wants her kids to know that education and hard-work are the keys to success. She empowers her students to become better people as they grow in S.W.A.G. each year. Being a part of SWAG is a huge commitment for the students. Christina includes her SWAG members in several events pertaining to giving back to the community, one being feeding the homeless. The Lady Bulls partnered with Christina’s SWAG club to feed the homeless on March 23, 2018 in Downtown Miami. This was a heartwarming event for us as we gathered together, prepared meals and gave back to our community. If you’d like to know more about SWAG, please visit her website at www.swagmiami.org
