Charlotte Invasion will Compete Against Georgia Stampede in Season Opener on May 6th
Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte Invasion is more than just a national championship basketball team. They are Charlotte’s hometown champions! Their superior talent and dedication has yielded three championship trophies in just 3 years of play. The most competitive women’s basketball can be found here! This year’s season opener will take place at Charlotte Latin School – 9502 Providence Rd. in Charlotte, NC on May 6th at 2 p.m. against a new entry into the Carolinas Region - Georgia Stampede. We are Charlotte Invasion - that’s the theme of the 2017 season! This community organization is bringing home the relatability of being a champion by asking everyone to “Join the Hive” with each level being a champion level. This initiative falls in line with Charlotte Invasion’s championship mentality and commitment to bringing the community together. The Charlotte Invasion is still looking for community partners in terms of sponsorships and partnerships to champion our motto of service, support, and heart healthy lifestyle education. “Invest in the Invasion” is a program that allows partners to choose their level of involvement and customize their benefits package from top to bottom. There really is no wrong way to get involved! Like they said, every level is a champion level! This season will prove to be the most exciting as we pull from Charlotte’s best talent in an effort to bring home another championship! About the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League: The WBCBL's mission is to provide highly competitive basketball for women age 20 and older (by May 1st). The competition level ranges from former College players to former NWBL and WNBA players and current international players. In addition, the WBCBL has built a networking relationship with professional international basketball scouts and agents to broaden the possibility of higher-level professional jobs being offered. ###
