Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte Invasion will welcome Mayor Jennifer Roberts to tip-off our regional tournament championship game on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 4pm. The regional tournament will take place for the first time in Charlotte and will be held at Charlotte Latin – Invasion’s home gym.
The Carolinas Region is comprised of four teams throughout North Carolina and Georgia and is currently one of the most competitive regions in the WBCBL league. The regional tournament consists of 2 semi-final games at 10a and 12p and a championship game at 4pm. Charlotte Invasion is the returning regional champion going for a three-peat in only its fourth season!

About the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League:
The WBCBL's mission is to provide highly competitive basketball for women age 20 and older (by May 1st). The competition level ranges from former College players to former NWBL and WNBA players and current international players. In addition, the WBCBL has built a networking relationship with professional international basketball scouts and agents to broaden the possibility of higher-level professional jobs being offered.
