The Iowa Force is presenting an opportunity for girls in 8th through 12th on Saturday June 24th. We will be holding a Basketball and Sports Performance Camp. It starts at 9 and goes until 12. The camp is limited to 60 athletes so register as soon as possible. This camp presents an opportunity to learn drills that will be able to improve their training regime. Types of drills include ball handling, footwork, and a variety of shooting drills. Players will be responsible to bring a basketball, pencil and notebook, and water bottle as well as a hard working attitude. The camp will be held at the Iowa Center for Higher Education 2280 Bell Avenue Des Moines, Iowa. The camp will be led by Iowa Force Owner/Coach Ja’Nae` Mosley as well as Maka Stewart a athletic trainer for Physiotherapy Associates specializing in sports performance enhancement and preventative training. She has experience with training athletes of all ages and skill levels. Together we hope to bring a fun learning experience for everyone involved regardless of skill level. The camp will cost $60 dollars per player. The Skills Academy will provide campers a great experience and help get them out of their comfort zones while working on improving themselves as basketball players and all around athletes.
