![]() Louisville, KY May 17, 2014 was not an ordinary day for the city of Louisville; it actually has been recognized by Mayor Fischer as Louisville Fillies Day. The Louisville Fillies held their Media Day on May 17, where the proclamation was read and presented to team owner, Terreka Walker by Councilwoman Attica Scott. The Fillies also were also welcomed to the city of Louisville by Congressman John Yarmuth and he expressed his excitement of the addition of semi-professional womens basketball to the city of Louisville. The Media Day also displayed information from local and national sponsors: Derek Anderson Foundation, Sideline Chic, First Federal Savings Bank, Awaken to Wellness Chiropractic and Sandra Shorr an Advocare Distributor.
