 Over the weekend, the Dallas Diesel women's basketball team stopped for a brief visit at Conway's McGee Center for a shoot-around practice. The Lady Diesel are in the final stretch of a 15-game college exhibition tour, in which, they are currently 11-2.
A former Dallas Diesel player named "Genai Walker" may ring a bell with most residents around the Central Arkansas area. Walker was a standout player for the University of Central Arkansas Lady Bears and retired from playing professionally in 2014. The current Lady Diesel roster features players from across the US; North Carolina, Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas, and some international talent from Egypt and Switzerland.
