A Record Tying Farewell

Dominique Simmons has been a very important piece on and off the court for the San Antonio Crusaders. With her personalty, hard working ethics, and dedication to the game and her team, she has proven to be a force to reckon with.

The San Antonio Crusaders are in their second-season and is the only undefeated team left in the WBCBL. Dominique Simmons has been a big part of that with her contributions on the court.

​This past Saturday was her last game this season with the Crusaders. She will be leaving this week to fly to Africa to do two of the things she loves to do the most, spread the love of Christ and play basketball, which is the foundation that the WBCBL was founded on. The picture you see is just a glimpse of how opponents respected her dominance. So what record could she have tied? She is tied with Layla McCray for the most double-doubles (8) in a regular season. It's been a honored and a blessing to have her as a part of the San Antonio Crusaders organization. Not only do the Crusaders organization appreciate her but all the fans communities, the city of San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding areas do as well. For those who never seen her play, here are her stats for the season. She is #1 in field goals made and is #2 for total points.
