 The Georgia Soul sprinted to a double digit first quarter lead and was never challenged on the way to a 100-71 win over the Beaufort Bisons Saturday at Laney High School. Breonna O'Conner scored 20 points, Rashay Rawls netted 19, Khadijiah Cave added 14 and Lacoya Terry chipped in 13.
The Soul improved to 3-0 for the season ahead of next weekend's pair of home games, Saturday (3:00 P.M.) against the Winston Salem Warcats, and Sunday against the Georgia Stampede (4:00 P.M.). The win over the Bison was a homecoming for Cave, who played in her first professional game after recently graduating from Baylor University, where she played for four seasons after starring at Laney during her high school days.
